A Bit Of Eggo

We attended this restaurant after a local friend's recommendation. We were seated by the door on a sunny table, and they also welcomed our dog and brought some water and a snack for him (adorable). The food was superb. We had 3 or 4 dishes with eggs and 2 pancakes. Best brunch ever! The espresso was excellent as well. Finally we had 2 great juices, one green with vegetables and one with fruits and ginger. Prices were very, very reasonable. By far, one of our top experiences in Istanbul. Thanks for everything, and keep up the great work

This place is more of a 4.5 stars for me, because the toast in my scrambled egg, mushroom and avocado toast was tough and a a little dry, and the whole plate was just a little bit meagre looking with just one slice of toast and plain avocados, some mushrooms and scrambled eggs, but at least the taste of the sourdough is on point. But the pancakes I had there definitely deserve five stars, the texture and taste were perfect and the berries they used were fresh and not sour which I really appreciate, and they were generous on the berries. I would come back just for the pancakes. Also, had a pretty good matcha latte there which I do not take for granted.

Coffee is decent (had a Cortado), chips are great. Burger wasn't that grand, had a cheeseburger and had to add a lot of sauce to get it where I wanted it. The bun was overwhelming the burger, too doughy. Given the name, I assume this place is more suited to breakfast. I had lunch here. The prices are relatively okay given the type of food and the location. I will have to come back for breakfast to see how that fares. Overall a nice find in Arnavutkoy. Decent food but not one of my best places.

I tried A bit of Eggo the first time in 2018 when I was living in Istanbul, and it was good. And I tried it again lately in my latest trip to Istanbu, and the quality was almost the same They have a veriety of good egg dishes. We ordered only one pancake as a dessert (shared by 4 people), which was less than average, but I am reviewing them based on their egg dished which are their speciality. The only downside is their prices. But I should mention that it is located in a high class area It is worth the try after a lovely morning walk by the Bosphorus.

Let me tell you something. The egg sandwich you see below is Superb. I absolutely loved it and didn’t want to finish it because that would mean it was over…lolol - Coffee was top notch and the staff was beyond friendly- Go , Enjoy! Thank me later

I live in New York but was born in Istanbul. On a recent trip we visited Arnavutkoy and as we were walking around we saw this very nice looking, clean feeling place.I liked the name. It was breakfast time and wanted some coffee. Well once I realized they had sucuk eggs that my mother used make, we ordered some food as well. It was divine. Childhood memories came back. Great food, very friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Next time I am in Istanbul I ll go to Arnavutkoy just for a little bit of Eggo.
